VCE Outdoor Education – Cycling Excursion
On 2 September, the Year 12 Outdoor Education class took part in a cycling excursion to CERES Environmental Park and Dights Falls. The focus of the day was on exploring how communities manage urban natural environments and make ethical consumer choices.
At CERES, students gained insights into recycling, organic gardening, sustainable energy design, and community initiatives supporting the Merri Creek river system. Cycling between locations also allowed students to experience active transport firsthand and reflect on ways to reduce their ecological footprint.

Afterschool Volleyball Program
Well done to students from all year levels who have been attending the Afterschool Volleyball Program. This social setting continues to provide students of all abilities with the opportunity to engage in regular physical activity and build positive social connections. New students are always welcome.
The program will continue in Term 4, and we are especially looking for more Year 7 and 8 students to join the interschool teams early next term. For any volleyball information, please see Mr Freeman.
Year 7 Region Soccer Finals 25th August
Congratulations to the Year 7 soccer team on reaching the Regional Finals. They finished second in their pool of four with a 1–0 win, a 0–0 draw, and a narrow 1–2 loss. The team showed great training dedication and excellent commitment on the field, with every player working hard to play their role for the team.

Congratulations to our three futsal teams for their outstanding performances at the Division Futsal Competition! Both the Year 7 and Year 8 teams won their competitions, while the Year 9–10 (Intermediate) team achieved an impressive 4th place.
