Inter-School Sport

The Interschool Sport program is a great way to engage students outside the classroom. It connects to the school’s Sport Education for Physical Education Program (S.E.P.E.P), as students transfer what is learnt from the S.E.P.E.P program into a competitive sporting environment. The Victorian State Schools Sport competitions cater for all year levels with the various sports being divided up into junior (year 7 & 8), intermediate (year 9 & 10) and senior (year 11 & 12) levels. The competition moves through five progression stages.

The Stages Are:

  1. District Division
  2. Northern Metropolitan Division
  3. State Finals
  4. Inter-state Finals

The winner of each stage moves into the next round. All students are encouraged to try out for a variety of sports. These include the following:

  • Swimming Sports
Term 2
  • Soccer
  • Futsal
  • Netball
  • Badminton
  • Aussie Rules Football
Term 3
  • Basketball
  • Table Tennis
  • Hockey
  • Rugby League
Term 4
  • Golf
