Meet the Team

Kay began her educational career in the western suburbs of Melbourne teaching Biology, Science and Geography. Kay took on leadership roles in curriculum, student management and engagement and was appointed as Leader of the Senior School at the college. Following this, Kay took on further leadership roles in teaching and learning and was appointed as Assistant Principal and Acting Principal at three schools prior to being appointed as Principal at Pascoe Vale Girls College in 2015.

Her educational experiences have provided the opportunity to work in culturally diverse and inclusive schools with a common goal of supporting student achievement and wellbeing. Her educational philosophy is based on the belief that every student should be able to experience success and achieve when given a positive learning environment, strong and committed leadership, a dedicated and passionate staff and the support of families and carers.

Kay obtained a Bachelor’s degree with majors in Biology and Environmental Science and completed a Masters in Educational Leadership.

Shane came to Pascoe Vale Girls College in 2018 after performing a wide range of leadership roles in many different educational settings. Prior to coming to PVGC he was the Head of the Senior School at Northcote High, Assessment and Reporting Leading Teacher at Rosebud Secondary College and has spent time in leadership roles in the east of London and the Northern Territory, including in juvenile justice.

Shane has a strong belief in the power of education and is a life-long advocate of State Education. His extensive experience in student management and support has taught him that every child has the ability to achieve, and that achievement is most likely when the student, family and school work together.

Dani has been a teacher of Japanese for over twenty five years and started at PVGC in 2017 in a Leading Teacher role as Curriculum Leader. She was appointed as Assistant Principal in 2020. 

Dani has extensive experience in curriculum management and leads teaching and learning at the college. She believes that every child should have access to quality education. She collaborates with Learning Area Leaders to develop engaging curriculum and supports teachers’ professional development to provide high quality instruction so that every student can progress and succeed in their learning.
