Pascoe Vale Girls College is dedicated to advocating for student voice and fostering community values through hosting an interschool debating mentorship program for the junior and middle year levels. Students make the most of leadership opportunities to develop critical thinking skills, the structure and organisation of ideas within a group setting and a collegial relationship between peers. This is a valuable experience for students to develop social connections with those who share interests as well as confident and independent thought in group settings.
In addition to this, Pascoe Vale Girls College also participates in statewide debating and public speaking events that are catered towards students’ interests.
