9B Humanities

In 9B Humanities, we have been learning about World War I. In this lesson, we focused on the impact that the Industrial Revolution had on the technology of World War I. In pairs, students each read a section of the textbook, such as paragraphs on gas, artillery, and communications. They wrote a bullet-point summary in their workbooks, then replicated this on the board. Students then wrote all the notes in their own workbooks. This activity taught students a method they can use in the future in which they can work smarter, not harder, by sharing the workload between the group.
