Food and Hospitality Demonstration with past student, Laura Rider
On Friday 26th of July Year 10 Cooking for a Crowd students were given a special presentation by past PVGC student Laura Rider (2010-2015) who has recently qualified as a Chef and is working at ‘The French Saloon’. Laura spoke about her pathway to becoming a Chef and her experiences in the Hospitality industry as both a Waiter and Chef.
She also demonstrated to students how to make fresh Fettuccine with a versatile Napoli sauce and Bruschetta. There was lots of discussion, questions and some delicious taste testing!
